Q: Advice on career change?
I’m feeling frustrated with my current career choice and I’m seriously considering changing direction. I’m a construction management grad and I’m burnt out on the project engineer/cost schedule engineer role. I’ve been in the industry for about 7 years and feel I really need to give something else a shot.

I’ve thought about e-media, web based advertising/marketing. What would be an entry-level position for this role? What software/coursework does one need to enter this industry?

A: If you want to go into marketing or advertising you need to consider taking some marketing classes. Those positions usually look for at least a BS in marketing.
